Japanese Nuru Massage in Porto — What it is and how it works

Nuru massage originates from Japan and its name means "slippery" in Japanese — a direct reference to the defining technique. Using a special seaweed gel with natural moisturising properties, the therapist slides her whole body over the guest in a unique experience of contact and sensuality.

At Eros Center Porto, Original Japanese Nuru is performed with authentic Nuru gel imported from Japan, in a private, temperature-controlled space on a specialist tatami. It is Porto’s only Original Nuru experience using this Japanese gel — ordinary oils and generic gels are not used as substitutes. A shower takes place before the session, followed by the continuous body-to-body movements that define the original technique.

The session is available in 30 and 60 minutes, at both Eros Center Porto locations — Duque de Loulé and Firmeza.
